Back to main page | Wildlife viewing in Hayden and Lamar Valleys | |
Wildlife is abundant everywhere in Yellowstone and visitors are likely to see bison, elk and mule deer at close range. A combination of patience and timing can reveal bears, wolves, moose, coyotes, bighorn sheep, mountain goats and other species. Popular viewing areas are along Lamar Valley (east of Tower-Roosevelt) and Hayden Valley (south of Canyon Village). At the bottom of the page are images of just three of Yellowstone's numerous waterfalls. |
